Elegy
Elegy follows the journey of Isabella, a young girl being held captive by her father and brother. Exploring the themes of isolation, loss, and personal dogma, Isabella’s struggle to understand her world leads to a creation of an alternate reality. Following the death of her mother, Isabella’s life dramatically changes for the worse. The once-loving family is distorted into an instrument of the father’s will, and the loss of the mother’s steady presence causes the remaining family members to retreat into the safety of religion, fantasy and obedience.
